IMD Red Alert: Heavy Rainfall Forecast for Gujarat & Rajasthan | District-wise Updates

According to the India, a red alert has been issued for parts of eastern Rajasthan and Gujarat until tomorrow, warning of intense downpours in isolated places.

These regions are expected to witness heavy to very heavy rainfall today.

  • Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya
  • Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura
  • Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal
  • Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh

⛈️ Thunderstorms and Strong Winds

Severe weather conditions including thunderstorms, lightning, and strong winds are expected in:

  • Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh
  • Bihar, Telangana
  • Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Jharkhand, Marathwada

Meanwhile, Delhi-NCR will experience cloudy skies with thunderstorms and rain.

For Gujarat, the forecast indicates heavy to very heavy rainfall over the next three days. India Director Mr. A.K. Das confirmed that ports have been placed under signal number three alert, and fishermen have been warned against entering the sea.
